Experience Overview:
Initially responsible for spearheading projects that included Print and Digital Media. Some of these projects included Email Campaigns, Video and Interactive Flash Productions, Presentations for CEO events, Unique Graphics and Ads for Website Content and Design Perspective in User Experience Reviews, Stakeholder Meetings and SEO Analysis.
In 2008 I began to assume more responsibilities as we further developed our Interactive Design Team to include Front End Developers, Customer Service Managers, Content Specialists, Information Architects, HCI Experts and SEO Consultants. As part of this formal Product Design Team, I was responsible for Visual Applications including Brand Management and Creative Direction; guiding discussions and adding a Design and Business-side Marketing perspective.
In 2009 Guru.com began implementing a Content Management System, Kentico for their Community Site, "Guru Answers". This project resulted in a front end renaissance that brought about a more effective global navigation, contemporary style updates and brand positioning efforts in the competitive landscape (oDesk, Elance, Freelancer.com) that coincided with the current CFM to .NET conversion on the Guru.com back end. SEO played a significant role in design choices, as well as industry leading algorithms from the CEO.
In 2010 we catapulted projects to beat the economic clock; to have the product in position when the economy bounced back. At this time there were so many projects in queue, in progress and in various states of release that I began to delegate, plan, organize and strategize with other Project Managers as a Creative Project Manager. This new role allowed me to create more effective processes within my team and across inter-disciplinary teams, making each release more fluid and effective than the previous one.
